      The NHS recognizes outstanding high school students that have honorable grades.  NHS stands to serve students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.  Student that have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 are eligible to considered for membership in the National Honor Society. The four qualifications for membership are scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
